Most of the Mason discussion centered around the fact that he jumped to bash Negreanu and make him look like the bad guy in the Pokerstars situation, which was transparent and an asshole thing to do. If he didn't already dislike Negreanu, he wouldn't have said a word about it.
The 22Q donation as definitely a stab at Daniel. Mason is not known for his charity donations. He did this one because he wanted to show up Daniel. Believe me, Mason didn't give a shit that Jasep scammed 22Q, aside from the fact that it "proved" him right.
Mason did nothing innovative to make all the money he did from Two Plus Two, aside from being an early adopter of publishing poker book and running a poker forum. I give him credit for jumping into that early, but truthfully it was only a moderate income source until he lucked into poker blowing up more than 5 years later. Prior to the boom, he was just a small publisher in a small niche market.

What Mason did to Daniel last week is classic Malmuth behavior. Wait for your enemy to come under fire, and then pile on them with a fake "objective" analysis of the situation, which in reality is a sneaky way to just kick them while they're down.
Daniel tried to help with the Supernova Elite thing. He didn't have to. It wasn't in his job description. He didn't make the decision in the first place. He stuck his neck out, tried to get things changed, but ultimately Stars wouldn't listen to him. Now the Supernova Elite nerds are mad at him, simply because he got overzealous and told some people behind the scenes that he might quit over this, and then didn't. Did Daniel handle everything perfectly? No. But the bottom line is that it's clear he tried to do something GOOD and SELFLESS for the players, and Mason is shitting all over him, accusing him of actually HURTING the effort to get things changed.
100% Mason wouldn't be going on other sites' podcasts to say something like this if it didn't involve someone he already disliked.
I got the same treatment from Mason. When I appeared on 60 Minutes in 2008, I said at the end that other sites could also be cheating us in some way, and that there's no way to tell if they're being more subtle about it. The 2+2 nerds freaked out and attacked me viciously on the forum. Mason then used that opportunity to appear on the 2+2 Pokercast, bash me, and in fact say that the government needed to have some kind of regulatory committee to prevent sites like Neverwinpoker from existing (what???) In his 25 minute rant, he did not criticize the AP/UB cheaters once, or mention any of their names.

Pooh made some valid criticisms, but the same criticisms can be made of any man, especially if you host a radio show where you share your opinions for 6 hours a week.
Dan Druff came back with a strong and correct response. He has correctly called MM for what he is doing. I agree this is classic MM behavior.
It seems to me like Dan Druff had a bad day yesterday. I don't usually read what people write on this forum, but he has been doing some abrasive posting! It makes me worried to troll Todd W in the future as he can be so scary and aggressive!
Also for the record Todd W the time I made a thread with your name in the title I was not trying to negatively SEO you on your own site. I didnt take that into consideration, as I had been engaging in recreational drug use. I do understand SEO fairly well and realize how that would be annoying. I apologize.
