Is this really that good of a deal? You have to buy a new PC which will be at least 700$ once taxes included and you save 100 bucks? I would expect you could get way better deals. Just fail to see why we have a thread about this....

I recently upgraded to windows 8.1, and while smooth and practical, I do miss the "under the hood" aspect of Windows XP. I also realize that these newer MS OS machines are also helping the NSA go deeper into the asshole of my internet, but really, what machine that is NOT specialized is like his today?
