    Devilfish nearly DD

    Apparently he is stricken with colon cancer and might not make it through the weekend.

    Though he always seemed to be a bit of creep, it's characters like him that helped launch the poker boom.

    Hope he pulls through but it's not looking good.

    Devilfish is a proper fucking "lad".. Genuine old school that doesn't give a single fuck about political correctness.. and if he was a forum kind of guy, then it's here or nwp where he would've fitted in best..


    He's nothing like the snakes of a Hellmuth, Leaderer or Scotty Nguyen.


    He's just good hearted bloke that shoots from the hip. Which is why he's got more "real" friends than the 3 i mentioned combined..


    Also a player with seriously mad skillz in his day.


    His legacy will live long here in the Uk.

    The one time I met Devilfish he stuck around after an interview and shot the shit for 15 minutes. This surprised me. I would have expected him to be more like Hellmuth, snobby and dismissive.

    Pretty sure in Anthony Holden's Bigger Deal (sequel to Big Deal) he discusses DevilFish and said that DF accidently registered for a tournament and had scheduled a meet and greet with kids, so he walked out of the tournament and kept his deal to meet the kids.
