Holy shit its bad enough that my dog died this week, I had to go BACK to smelly ass Tijuana in person to the consulate to pick up my passport.
no they won't just mail it...that would make it less arduous of a process
so I show up at 10:00 am taking a taxi (no I'm not driving into that shit-pile) and we pull up...
when I approach the 6 inch thick bulletproof glass, the lemming sitting in his cage says that passport services start at 3 PM
wow really
long story short is I had to kill 4 1/2 hours
you can obviously assume I found the nearest cantina and got pretty plowed
here are some excerpts I posted already I don't feel like typing again:

two U.S. State Department reps had to physically escort me off the property of the American consulate today picking up my passport. How about you get your shit together so I don't have to freak out you bureaucratic assholes. what a horrific experience dealing with these Nazi losers

they demanded I make an appointment...fine no problem....i show up on time,,,,,they keep me waiting 3 hours for my 'interview;....which took a grand total of 30 seconds.....then I wait 3 weeks....then i have to be there in a 30 minute window. unreal. its a miracle I didn't get arrested today. I was furious. ....

I didn't get arrested or detained....I was there simply to pick up my passport. the State department rep came out because I was pissed off at the clusterfuck of a consulate they run in Tijuana. it was a total nightmare. they are the ones that sent me an email saying my passport was ready at a certain date/time and I fulfilled my end of the bargain showing up on time....I don't appreciate my time being wasted and I let them know it. The U.S federal government can kiss my ass. I wouldn't do anything differently. They have their nerve treating people like that. I unloaded on them because they deserve it. Even the state department reps that escorted me out were laughing with me because they are trapped in this hypocritical system

two state department reps that looked like CIA agents came out and handed my passport to me...they wouldn't let me inside the consulate since I was being so vocal about their excessive security. They escorted me off the property lol. that was such a joke. I was absolutely furious

I'm so glad I live in Mexico now. That whole ordeal was U.S. bureaucracy in all of its glory. exactly why I moved here in the first place was to escape that brand of bullshit
