My BF/JFK moment;
I was actually playing on FTP, saw it a headline on yahoo about the DOJ bust, I was like, whatever, I'm playing right now.
Take a nap after like a 20 hour session, wake up, the local news says it, and that time it sounded really bad.
I get to my computer and it was all over.

Doris Kearns Goodwin???? She is an expert on poker, too??? She just knows a little something about everything I guess, she is in like every documentary I've seen in the last 10 years.

I played BJ w/Moneymaker's dad one time, what an asshole. I didn't realize Chris was such a degen.

Chris Moneymaker, very honest in this about his gambling habits.

I actually drove an hour to see this in a theater on opening night. The fact that Moneymaker is such a degen is the only thing I learned. It was ok I guess.

Hi Everyone:

I haven't seen this film, but it's my understanding that they don't mention 2+2 in any way, so how much credibility or knowledge about what really goes on in poker should we give them credit for? Ignoring the largest poker community (by far) on the Internet or perhaps just being completely unaware of it doesn't speak positively for the people who put this film together.

I really could not believe that when I read it... That thought process is mind boggling to me. The only mention that would have been warranted is the mention of how successful 2p2 became despite the people at the very top being the way that they are.
