Good thing he wasn't very successful. But his failure as a site host really isn't germane, imo.

This Class B felony carries a one year minimum. I am also guessing like many states if he gets a year it will be a full year, if he gets a year and a day he might be able to get out early.

Everyday, he should be losing sleep (and money he donks off on PS while he isnt in a the right frame of mind), having stress and arguments with his wife for this situation they are now in.

I get the impression that Martha is as balls deep in his martyr trip as he is. She has studiously ignored the warning signs and passed on every chance shes had to step off this merry go round of lurid stupidity.

And it sure as shit wasnt the money that kept her interested, because by all accounts Micon was pulling down about 30-40k a year on this misadventure.

Micon will absolutely do NOTHING near the max. First of all, you have a nerdy/lofty guy who committed a nonviolent crime with no prior history (that I know of at least or heard about). The one mitigating factor which could cause him to get significantly more time, is to stay away from the U.S for too long causing the State/Government to incur much more costs associated with the crime. Which could be offset by them ordering him to pay significantly more restitution in fines, or could possibly use that fact to get a judge to order a stiffer sentence.

If he generally goes along with what his lawyers tell him to do, which will all be based off of their meetings with the D.A/State he won't deal with anything but a Max of 1 year in the Clarke County jail or upstate Nevada prison. You all saying he will go to some 'country club' are most likely wrong. Those places are usually only reserved for Federal Criminals, and more well known and wealthy ones. Micon will do his time assuming its less than 1 year somewhere in Nevada.

Now of course, that's best case scenario. The Micon way may be something totallly different...

In which case if say he doesn't return, against the wishes of his legal counsel, and the State of Nevada, and proceeds to go all Calvin Ayre for 10 or more years and then get caught, he is going to get the full wrath of possible sentences. Got the popcorn ready for this one, pretty soon probably less than 4-6 months there will be some type of plea bargains beginning to come down to him from the State, it's up to him to take it or continue to run.

Another thing about plea-bargains, some people don't know your first plea bargain is never the sweetest one, it's actually alot of times wiser if you can handle riding it out and doing some more time, to hold and usually the subsequent ones get better to a certain point then they close the door. Now thats when dealing with public pretenders, not so sure if that holds true with high paid attorneys, but as a general rule your first "plea" is usually always the shittiest one.

I watched part of white collar crime documentary last night on CNBC and Micon should be shitting his pants. I would be, even my tattoos would be shitting themselves. CEO's stealing, ponzi guys, etc, locked up with regular criminals however mostly non violent drug offenses criminals. I posted it in the Jeopardy thread, had nothing to do with Micon being in it though. I just posted it because it was old school NWP etc and Alex was in it, no idea why she wanted it removed. her reasoning was "It's not her crowd anymore" or something like that
