Obviously something serious happened for the site to be down this long. The fact that there have been no statements as to what happened and the shroud of secrecy really makes one wonder and leads to wild speculation. The wild speculation could be eased with more forthcoming details. Not doing themselves any favors by not being more forthcoming.
Has traffic on nitrogen picked up?
Are there any other btc rooms operating now?

Exactly the lack of specificity and details looks like they are hiding something. I mean usually it would be "x happened, we are doing y to try to fix it...bear with us etc etc...". Two considerations
First
SWC is such a amateurish guest bedroom operation that no provision was made to communicate "upgrade" to players. No strategy for PR in case of problems with upgrade - these things happen.
Second,
PR guy, Micon was AWOL during upgrade. Nearly any other self respecting operation would terminate his ass.
So which is it?
Maybe Preet has begun his discovery process and Micon spent a few days in NY.
according to 2p2 reports, people are getting cashouts quickly.
im pretty sure micon owns small piece, but he definitely does not run seals and there are larger owner(s).
When Druff did his butthurt radio shows a few yrs ago, he said Micon owned 50 pct of seals. I recall he said Micon got this by promising the guy who ran it (Freemoney) to promote the shit out of it in exchange for half the ownership. Would love for Druff to confirm but I know he wont say shit. He def said something about it though, wish I remember on which episode.
America's card room seem to be a little bit "fuller" they also added more gtd tournies..whatever/whatever..

I'm not sure why anyone here is surprised about the recent downtime. The lead programmer left sealswithclubs shortly after its launch. Knowing Micon there was no contingency plan in case something of this nature went wrong. Its quite possible he is in the process of trying to track down Dutch Boyd and get him back involved on the team to fix this problem.
Or maybe they found out dutch was superusing :P
