IMO, if Anderson has any faith at all in his kicks, hard to imagine Diaz pulling this one out. Would love to see Nick pull it off, tho.

Notable weight bullshit: John Lineker missed by 4, Gastelum (supposedly had the flu, was in the hospital for a spell yesterday) missed by 9.

I just get this weird vibe that the reason that they picked Diaz to fight here is because I don't think he's ever thrown a leg kick.

Interesting as yesterday Gastelum was the favorite. Did he look like shit at weigh ins? Might be some value in betting him

He looked like he was about to cry. He was obv crushed about the whole deal, and real embarrassed. Dana's already said Lineker and this guy both have to move up a weight class for their next fight.

This x1000. If Anderson's leg is fully healed and he isn't afraid to use it, there is a very good chance that he brutalizes Diaz. There's also the chance that Silva goes back to his old style and uses his size advantage to get the Muay Thai clinch and knee Nick's face until his nose relocates to the side of his head. Should be Nick's first stoppage by ko/tko in the UFC either way.

Kind of crazy looking at the UFC schedule:

    http://www.ufc.com/schedule/event

Because of the Weidman pull out, there is are zero interesting fights after tonight (except for maybe ufc 185) until July. Certainty none worth paying for. Lol @ UFC 184 being PPV . Who the fuck is going to spend 60 bucks for that?

Gastelum was in the hospital last week with the flu and showed up 9 pounds over weight.

I think Rousey vs Zingano will be a good fight. I think she has a legitimate chance to beat Ronda. Should get a good price too given how dominant Rousey has been.

+800 at 5dimes right now. Also, she has almost no shot, imo. She has better let kicks than Ronda probably, but the story ends there.

She is definitely the better overall striker imo. I also think that she may have just enough of a ground game to avoid losing an arm quickly. My biggest selling point on her is the fact that I think Ronda may have too much going on outside of fighting and may not be fully vested in prepping for the fight. There isn't the pure hatred there that there was for the Miesha Tate fight.

Not sure that Diaz is juicy enough at +450. I think Silva is gonna long ball him. I can't find reach stats? Anyone??

I think Silva is absolute lock here. The big question is where his head is at but I really can't think of how nick possibly wins.

Diaz totally overrated and his stand up has been exploited by mediocre strikers in his last two fights. I also think Diaz knows he's going to lose which is why he's been so cordial. I'm also pretty sure UFC believes this too which is why earlier this week they announced that Silva will likely get a title shot if he wins this but Diaz won't.

She hits harder maybe, but she has pretty bad striking defense, gets hit pretty easily, and she starts hella slow, which makes her the worst possible type of striker to put up against Ronda. If I remember the fight right, Miesha took Cat down really easily in the first 2 rounds, and even came within sight of an armbar. That spells total doom, IMO.
