    Irregardless is not a word.
I hear ya, but you are wrong. Irregardless is indeed a word, meaning "regardless." You can argue usage, and about the bastardization of the language or whatever, but it is indeed a word, because people have used it for decades. Now, it's in most dictionaries. That's how living languages work. It may not have been a word, but it is indeed a word now.

bastardazation is gaining traction too. I will defer to Delaware for final ruling.

I think Crowe is Mass, so he gets full credit for using the "r"

Born and raised in Boston, with relatively little accent to show, unless I'm drinking. I do say "wicked" plenty tho, and "retahdid" is something I seem unable to remove completely from my vocabulary.

" Yoah fahking retahdid?" + alcohol = fists

"Wicked retahdid" + alcohol usually means you are watching the Red Sox at Fenway & Middlebrooks is at bat.

Clearly he intended to check that swing. Most compelling evidence is that he wasn't looking at the ball.

Amazingly, it was ruled a strike, NOT a hit-by-pitch, since Stanton "swung" at the pitch! I don't agree. Most of the swing was his reaction to being nailed.

The next batter was also hit, touching off a brawl sparked by Casey McGehee.

Marlins hit Carlos Gomez in the 6th in retaliation, and that pitcher and the Marlins' manager were ejected.

Stanton suffered "multiple facial fractures and dental damage". Ouch.

Clayton Kershaw will probably be MVP now, especially if he finishes strong.
