The traffic is slow, but improving. If you win and cashout you will have a check in less than 2 weeks.
i have heard good things. Traffic on the site is the major problems for a lot of people. If you can deal with that then go for it.
Only site that accepts US players that pays out in anything resembling a timely matter.
It's a good room with quick payouts but during week nights the site reveals very little traffic.
I don't understand because of all the remaining USA-friendly sites ACR is best. However I just left there after a profitable night of poker and noticed they said there were over 2000 active players. Where are they hiding?
They have a Rep Thread on 2+2 and seem to want more players but they have a long way to go.
Traffic is slow in non-peak hours but for moving money they have some of the fastest cashouts and easiest way to get money online.
For example they accepted my Visa card while most of the other sites did not but the best thing about this site is you can deposit with your visa/mastercard debit card with MoneyGram (never use credit only debit with MoneyGram) online for as small as $100 and they cover the MoneyGram fee. It's $300 for WU.
If you don't have a Visa/Mastercard Debit card go pay at a location otherwise if you use a credit card your transaction is handled as a cash advance which means you get charged a fee for that as well as interest right away for everything else you charged on your card so don't even think of doing that.
ACR also offers a Mastercard debit card they can cash you out to which it has some fees ($5/month and transaction fees like any debit card) but you can get the money off that site faster this way but they also offer a free check per month that you probably will get within 2 weeks.
tried it out a few months ago and liked it. might throw a little cash on there this weekend and dick around since my nug jag is pretty full
ACR is ok, but not many games going. The software is ok too.
Now I will say, DO NOT open up an affiliate account on this site. Number one it isn't worth it. Number two, the affiliate manager is a scumbag. He has owed me 30k since December of 2005. This is when they were with BetCris.
Scumbags
Of all the money e'er I had, I spent it in good company
Not sure what BetCris issues from 2005 have to do with the current ACR so can you elaborate on that?
For someone like Druff or China this isn't a good site choice since I don't think limit holdem ever goes off.
Like I said before I have no problem with the poker room. I have played there the past couple of months, and have been paid in 3-4 days.
BetCris was the casino side of ACR back in 2005. They also processed the payments for ACR. When the poker affiliate system started, it was a big clusterfuck. To fix it they used the BetCris affiliate system. Those affiliate people from BetCris are now management/affiliate managers at the new ACR. Those are some of the same people I have a beef with.

I found this thread on 2+2.

I think ACR is the best option for Americans right now.
The traffic is still slow, but they have the fastest cashouts, and the customer support is the best in the business.
Anyone got this email?

This place severely pissed me off yesterday.
The situation went like this.
Most of ACR's tournaments have HOURS of late registration, I think the particular tournament I was in had 3 hours of registration.
approximately 2 hours in they had an "issue" with the tournament and cancelled it.
After contacting support they said that they refunded all buy ins back to their customers accounts.
They did not pay back based on equity, If you bought in 5 times but busted and quit you got all 5 buy ins back etc. I was 9th in chips and got my single buy in back. While this is stated in their T&C it is a complete bull shit way to handle this.
