Dude's so much fun to watch, and has some monster skills, but he's already 36 (LOL jk, he's Cuban 36, which means he's probably 41) and does a shitload of stupid stuff in the cage. Not a chance in hell does he even sniff a title shot ever. I don't even think he's gonna beat Tavares.

Werdum one of the most underrated heavyweights of all time IMO. UFC have totally wasted him with their match ups including this one. Werdum should have been challenging for the title and instead they put him in against a washedup nog and then send him in to lose in order to hype up Browne. I think the odds makers have it right with Browne as a 2-1 fav here. Werdum has struggled against strikers and he's gonna have a hell of a time dealing with Browne's size.

His striking is underrated. JDS was the last person(and only one) to light him up, and that was ages ago.

Perhaps, but his fight against Overeem was downright embarrassing. I don't think Browne will let up like Overeem did. I also think Browne is exceptionally athletic for a heavyweight of his size. Definitely not counting Werdum out though. Just a bad matchup for him IMO.

Werdum has a profoundly unpleasant history with the UFC.

He put on some of the worst performances in fight sport history before he was sent packing.

That said, what hes done with his MT since then is amazing. What he did to Nelson's face was lyrical.

Werdum at +175 is actually very attractive.

I admit that I don't know much about Jones personally, nor do I really care. The article keeps referring to Jones as some right wing Christian nut. Is this just common knowledge that I missed out on? Maybe I need to start watching countdown to UFC again...

when bones first became champ, he was throwing Jesus into every sentence, it seemed. he doesn't do it as much, but he's still clearly a guy who not only believes in God, but believes God decided that Jon Jones should be Champion. Sounded like a fuckin Calvinist at times. He's toned it down a bit over time, but he's still lousy with religion.

plus, the big Philippians tattoo also kinda gives it away.

Barbozas a steal. Cerrone only comes to fight after a loss and even if he does hes not in the same class.
