So a few days ago I install Flappy Bird on my android phone and this game is so addicting. I don't normally play that many games anymore but decided to see what good free ones were available in the Play Store and this one came up.

The game is blowing up huge earning $50k a day in advertising revenue. That Candy Crush game earns $850k a day btw.

Anyone play this yet? Warning, if you haven't you might not want to install it on your phone since you probably will get hooked and frustrated early on until you get the hang of it.

Downloaded it a few days ago. Played like 6 games, and got a combined total of 1. Deleted the app and never looked back.

A friend of mine was talking about this game at a super bowl party, you should have seen his eyes light up like a crackhead when he thought of the mere mention of its name.

Well its addicting to play if you get into it but I'm not on this level of addiction.

I got a few friends on FB posting their scores all in a mutual friends post about the game. It's comical some aren't able to do anything in it and others are competing big time to top each others score.

Coincidentally enough, I am now on level 500...which according to my phone is the last level (until they come out with more)

I started this game in April of last year

I talk to a number of people who are not nearly as far in the same amount of time playing and even have spent weeks on a certain level, so I guess I must be running like God or something

Flappy birds is more annoying than addicting. I have a high score of 12 in limited play, my gf son has a high score of like 97 lol

I played quite a bit of the original Temple Run and scored like 19,000,000 , hated temple run 2 but still scored 10+ million

I do play a heads up texas hold em limit game they have though.

'Flappy Bird' Creator Says He's Taking The Game Down

In a bizarre turn of events, the Vietnamese creator of the maddeningly difficult #1 Android and iOS game Flappy Bird is saying that he’s taking the game down within the next day. Developer Dong Nguyen announced the decision on Twitter just a few hours ago:

“I am sorry ‘Flappy Bird’ users, 22 hours from now, I will take ‘Flappy Bird’ down. I cannot take this anymore.”

“It is not anything related to legal issues. I just cannot keep it anymore.”

“I also don’t sell ‘Flappy Bird’, please don’t ask.”

“And I still make games.”

He's been tweeting about it like crazy. It sounds like the guy don't want all the press nor is he wiling hire people to do PR for him because he claims then in his eyes he isn't an indie game maker. He says all of this is ruining his life and he don't want that.

For $50k a day I wouldn't care if people were contacting me for tons of interviews and whatever else which this initial craze will die down in a month or so anyways.
