Royal Rumble is god, the best PPV of the year typically. I'd mark out big time if Sting showed up.

Someone was streaming old Rumble matches all day. I'm fucking amped.

Sting showing up even though he's junk now would be a huge mark out moment for me.

This is actually better then watching the Pro Bowl with these ugly ass uniforms and random teams. I'm not sure what the NFL was thinking with this shitty idea as this game always has been a joke and they found a way to make it even shittier.

Daniel Bryan is unreal. I would love to see him and CM Punk wrestle each other at every ppv.

How about Ric Flair becoming the Lee Corso of the WWE? It won't be long before they have him wearing mascot heads.

So how did I go all these years watching wrestling without knowing that those weird forearm/biceps uppercuts were called European uppercuts? Didn't know they had a name at all, I don't think. Or I just forgot, but it didn;t ring a bell when I heard it.

Commonly used by Europeans strangely enough, Alex Wright used it in the early 90s and Kurt Angle used it a ton.

I first remember it being used by William Regal when he was Steve Regal back in WCW.

Will be interesting to see of they get the quantity of subscribers needed to make up for the inevitable loss of ppv revenue from people buying now that go to the online service. I guess it would also depend on what their cut is after paying the satellite and cable company ppv fees.

I'll be saving a shit ton of money for sure. I subscribe to the WWE network now which is about $8/month, and then I usually buy the 5 big PPVs which is about $280/year.

One other little issue is that the wrestlers get ppv cuts, and the wrestlemania check is their biggest payday of the year, every year. CM Punk even mentioned in the Ariel Helwani interview that he has no idea what the deal is with how that'll be handled now.

Sort of depressing reading this thread and realizing that my kid, who is 10, might never outgrow his infatuation with WWE.

I watched wrestling during the "attitude" era and if I recall correctly, if anything the wrestlers will be the ones getting boned in this deal. Vince will only grow the company and his pockets deeper.
