I continued to be astounded how cool Alabama's QB was. No matter how good he was alledged to be, he just turned 18. This was like finding out your parents were getting a divorce right before the most important game of your life.

If Saban didn't think this wouldn't shake him or that the entire offense wouldn't be endlessly talking about this back at the dorm ... they are kids and this was high drama.

He completed 7 passes for 55 yards last week and had like a 13 QBR. He threw for like 130 tonight on a few more completions. Against Florida he completed 11 passes for 130 yards in a game they scored 54. Against LSU he completed 10 passes for 100 yards. Tonight is who he has been against any real team all year. With that defense they were simply able to win despite him.
