With all of the recent epic Rio fail I decided to survey how MGM and Caesars properties are rated on Tripadvisor. The results imo are LOL. Caesars have also recently shot themselves in the foot by adding the LOL "resort fees" that MGM and other properties charge. I am leaving off Four Seasons and Elara as they are not owned by but are connected to casino properties.

So Caesars is ranked just below Monte Carlo? Someone at Caesars is not doing his/her job.
These are dumb ratings.
MGM Grand sucks, more because of the annoying property layout than the rooms, and the rooms are also nothing special. Caesar's is a good property. There is a lot of operational fail, but the rooms (especially in Augustus and Octavius towers) are large and nice. If it's one spot above the now-closed shithole Bill's/Barbary Coast, you know that this list is highly inaccurate.
I will agree that all of the other Vegas-area Caesar's properties are nothing special, and some like The Quad are definitely lower eschelon hotels, but MGM is getting too much credit on this list and Caesar's is getting too little.
