Very nice. Just be aware that when the coin sector that you hate so much officially goes donkdown, so will the stock market. They are correlated, believe it or not.

So, I used to mine using a couple of R9 280X's... and stopped when I couldn't mine enough to make $1 a day after paying electricity. About 550W in this dual 280x configuration.

Couple of months ago I bought a GTX 1070 to play Battlefield1, it's so nice @ 1080P with everything on ultra getting 100+FPS

Now I have a card that draws 150W and can mine etherium @ 30Mh/s when 2 x 280x will only do about 20Mh/s at nearly 4 x the power.

Basically for every $ in power I can throw at this setup I already have, I can make $3 or $4 profit.

Since I already have the setup is it free money?

That etherium is kinda cool, no ASIC's allowed. The developers will ban anyone who uses one. It's all GPU based and I just so happened to buy the best card available to mine etherium.

Shame Bitcoin only has two months to live, I could do with some free money.

Perhaps it is a currency, but to justify 150 kilowatt hours per transaction it's a rich mans currency... aint worth it less the transaction in several thousand dollars minimum.

Ripple has some major banks invested...seems like a decent bet.

But I think people aren't understanding that there are 38 billion coins in circulation and like a 100 billion total. Ripple going to 8 dollars a coin would give it the same current market cap as bitcoin. I think it is a decent long term bet, but people erroneously thinking a meteoric rise with it is happening are way off base.

Here's a tip: You can buy 1000 tron coin for 17 dollars. Invest a hundo or two. Looks to have huge potential. Either that or it could be a huge scam. But seems likely that it will eventually pop just on speculation.

You can now sell those 1000 Tron coins for 133 dollars.

Raging bull market. Anything can happen.

It's just speculation based on speculation. Ripple the company is a solid investment and they have decent product that actually does stuff, but it's not really tied to XRP in a major way.

Ripple isn't publicly traded. XRP could be available to masses soon. For now that's good enough. By crypto standards it makes more sense than most coins.
