Do I believe BTC will drop again, sure but I also believe it will rebound and perhaps higher.
Nothing (generally) goes up continuously with no drop(s) along the way or adjustments, profit taking or panic.
Do I see BTC lasting forever no not the currency solution that will win in the end, has too many limitations and issues but I do believe the tech will advance a shift.
I was sitting here waiting for a transaction to work its way through its confirmations.
I was feeling pretty good about life.
Bored, I started looking at old wallet transactions converted into today's dollars.
Not gonna lie. I am now tilted.
$1090
Who knows where it's going next but maybe hits $1300 and tops the all time high?
Micon is wigger rich again
This is probably the first legit run-up over $1000, as the previous one was said to possibly be market manipulation on the part of Mt. Gox.
Are there services that confirm for a fee? Because it seems that the slowing of transaction confirmations is a naturally failing market when there is little incentive for miners to confirm transactions for free (or close to it) when the alternative use of hash power is too mine for high-priced bitcoin. Or am I not understanding something about how confirmations work.
I think about this on many occasions. The theory went that if you paid a higher fee voluntarily the miners would push your transaction.
When you withdraw from a sportsbook, for example, the processor for the sportsbook does not offer the opportunity to raise the transaction fee. The processor doesn't have any motivation in this spot.
I have always been too lazy when I ship from my wallet to see if I have the opportunity to raise the fee but I don't think it's available. Pretty bare bones with BreadWallet.

Love that link Henry. It's funny you post that Mirabelli story in this thread. You knew my thoughts exactly. My summer grinding baseball, being patient with juice, watching lines all day... all the effort when I could have just left the deposit in my wallet and done nearly as well. BTC was around $300 at the start of spring training.
I mean I watched the fucking Lakers last night looking for a spot. This is a life squandered for a few bucks. It isn't even real basketball. It's a cruel torment to see this run.
I remember that exact night Mirabelli was flown in and escorted in by State troopers. Absolutely god. 37,000 people cheering a warmup knuckle ball that Mirabelli cleanly caught. In Druff's lifetime he will never witness anything like this kind of love or interest in the Dodgers.
I remember Daisuke Matsuzaka and his fucking gyro ball coming to town from Japan. The news stations had helicopters following his limo to the stadium from Logan. We interrupt regular programming, lol.
$1100 Double top? When the music stops... gonna hurt.

What wallet do you use Crowe?
I use mycelium on a tablet that I don't use for anything else.

Darnnit Sonatine, you convinced me to divest of all my BTC.
Merge this thread with my Trump thread so Tine's legacy as a prediction failure is complete
