Hard to believe someone did not pull him aside before he signed his card. I thought it was pretty obvious rule violation, although I did not see it live.

i was watching it with some friends at the golf course, and when he took the drop, we were like did he do that right. we bullshitted for a minute about and then just went ahead and figured tiger knew what he was doing. obv too lazy to break out a rulebook. speaking of which, druff are you the one who called in tiger's rule violation?

I get it, it is a Professional tour stop, but sometimes it is actually right to bend the rules.

From what I saw today, the official who penalized him is tremendously respected. They don't want to do this.

I was at the US Championship in Oakmont a few years ago, they were warning players to speed it up. Nobody got warned twice. If this kid was warned 6 times what else can you do but clip him a stroke? A lot of these punks now think the rules don't apply to them. He'll remember this his whole life.

guy who penalized him is a big ole fat white guy with a flattop. we were all joking that he was a racist bubba who was having fun fucking with the foreigner. but then afterwards they interviewed him and he sounds like he's british and looked like he was ready to cry. so...oops.

He was one of my original picks also along with Dustin Johnson. He was going to be my dark horse pick. I still wouldn't be in contention with my original team(first time in the 5 pools I've picked Tiger Woods so I was trying to take this one a little more serious) but......hindsight is 20/20 & I'm used to finishing near the bottom because I like to go off the board.
