The new operabuilding is right next to the trainstation, and from the roof the view is pretty good
Eating and drinking Aker brygge (aker docks) is pretty good.
15 min walk from trainstation
Old fortress , 10 min walk
Mainstreet (Karl Johan) runs from the trainstation to the royal palace.
Lots of pubs, resturants etc about a 20 minute walk
Up in the hills you can see everything from the skijump Holmenkollen, about 25 mins in a taxi to get there.
