The scene:
Central Restaurant in the lobby of Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas.
It's the only restaurant open at this time (5:15am), which sucks because they have a monopoly and jack up the prices to ridiculous levels. I am paying with points, though, so it's not a huge deal (but still annoying).
I went to the bar to order takeout.
I was trying to find the bartender, who had apparently stepped away for a minute. The only two people at the bar were two black girls. Both looked late 20s. One was average looking, the other above-average, but I'm just not into black girls, and besides, I'm not single anyway.
The better looking one took an immediate interest in what I was doing there.
She smiled, and said, "Hi!"
I responded with a "Hi" back, but tried not to come off as too friendly so she wouldn't think I was interested.
"Come sit with us!", she immediately offered.
"Ummm, actually I'm just looking for the bartender to order some food. I can't seem to find him."
"Well, just come sit down next to me right here while you're waiting!"
"Sorry," I replied, "I'm just looking to order some food."
"Awww...", she answered, "You don't want to come sit with us?"
At that point, I just walked away.
Neither was dressed like a prostitute, but in Las Vegas, that doesn't mean much.
What do you guys think?
