    I have to agree.

I always thought Victorino was overrated when he was with the Phillies, but for a long time nobody noticed because there were so many great hitters on that team.

I yawned when the Dodgers got him, and it seemed like he grounded out or struck out in every at-bat.

In his best year (2008), he hit .293 with 14 HR, was 36/45 in SB, and had an OBP of .352.

    And that was his BEST.

    Nothing to be excited about.

seriously. the sox would've been better off w/ juan pierre or numerous other players. commmitting this $$$ and years for that type of player is lol.

and i would be surprised if dempster's ERA is under 4.00

Don't forget Johnny Gomes, my new favorite baseball player. Rest of the signings though are LOL, a bunch of players on the decline. Hopefully they fall out of contention and trade him back to the A's for the stretch.

I fucking hate Victirino ever since he was a Philly. I would cringe when they kept saying the Giants might try and pick him up.

napoli could be very worthy. but that deal isn't even finalized...

the team that signs swisher is going to get a great team player. the yanks could kiss my ass for not signing him. swish gets on base, always has a great attitude/smiling and has has plenty of talent. in short,..he's the kind of player any smart GM would want to have on their team

maybe the sox will offset the napoli holdup with bobby abreu. rival al east gm's can only pray they do this.

i hear uggie urbina is trying to make a comeback after a 7 yr stint in prison.....they should get him to bolster the pen as well
