Jasep, I trust you. Having weeks start on Monday makes sense and is fine, and especially if you're announcing your intentions beforehand, no problem.
It was just this part that initially confused me: "...every Thursday night after Filthy Limper Radio I will send out that week’s percentage of profits and start over again at 5K the following week..." I get it now -- weeks start on Monday and thus distribution of profits won't necessarily be on Thursday nights.

Better luck next week! Hopefully there'll be enough cash game action that you won't be forced to play those high-juice Foxwood tourneys!

I have read through this whole thread. I admit I have no idea who Jasep is and know zero about him. He could be a saint and the best guy in the world.

However, reading through this thread I cant help but think that this stake is going to be the subject of a PFA radio show many months from now. And not in a positive way.

I also dont know Jasep well but I agree with cmoney here. I have read this thread as its gone on and been kinda dumbfounded about the whole thing but kept my mouth shut cuz I know Jasep is well liked here and didnt want to get in a big flamefest over it.

Well now that legend cmoney has spoken up, I feel I might as well too. I have nothing against you Jasep and in fact have liked your radio show the few times Ive listened but some stuff feels wrong here.

1. This is a live cash stake which is already very weird to begin with. There is no way to verify your results. You could finish up 600 and say you finished up 300 and none of us woudl be the wiser. That alone scared me from investing.

2. That weirdness about not paying on that first Thursday but then waiting until Friday was a big red flag to me. It was an even bigger red flag cuz you lost on that Friday and only had to pay out 3 dollars instead of 200.

3. I hate to bring this up but Sixtoe Pete dug up and found that eviction and identity theft stuff on you. I hate Pete like everyone else but he didnt just pull that shit out of thin air. I know you say there is a good explanation for it but so does everyone who has been arrested. Like Morgan Freeman said in Shawshank Redemption, everyone behind bars says hes innocent!!

4. There seems to be a lot of reasons you arent playing lately.

5. You collected the money way in advance of playing which I have never seen done before in a stake.

When I read all of this it just seems that we are already seeing the early signs of something bad coming. Before you guys call me crazy and a faggot and whatever else, remember how much everyone liked Templar and Peter DC.

Jasep you have seen Ive never trolled you before so you know this is from the heart. I have no dog in this fight but just have been around poker for a long time and something feels wrong here. Maybe provide everyone some proof that this is all legit? I don't know what that would be but Im sure you can think of something.

I do not have any money involved but I will give my 2 cents on the subject. Jasep has never given me any reason not to believe him or think that he does not have the utmost level of integrity. He has run numerous Baps with no problems and handled all of the cash for the 22Q poker room that was run during the ironman podcast. He would probably be my second choice next to Druff if I ever needed to escrow for a bet.

If any of my investors are uncomfortable with arrangement they are more than welcome to contact me about it. I am very accessible and never want anyone to feel uncomfortable with me having their money.

Exactly, I haven't had one problem.
I've said it many times, I've invested, got my money back + profit AND I have 2 shares of this on a free roll, (that I've already got paid on)

The only real problem I've seen w/Jasep, is that clown 4bet, that essentially expected him to paypal him his cash back before he got back to his car.
The guy drives a corvette, yet is obv completely broke. He shouldn't invest in anyone.

I was, in fact, the first investor in this & I have zero issues with anything. This is an experiment that has many levels to it.

I`m sure Jasep feels his name is worth way more than $5000 or any small amount he could conceivably hold back from investors. Not sure why we let this kind of shit derail this thread.

I'm not responding to all the negative posts, this is simply my read. JSep has been a cash game player for many years. JSep has taken this knowledge and created a podcast on the same subject. This alone is plus plus in my books. Add to that he has been a faithful member of this community, meaning bets won or lost are paid.

So win or lose we hear from JSep. Add to this the fact that he has a daughter and he chooses to play when it coincides with the important hours spent with his precious child. Nothing could bring more credence to his plan.

Most of the investors here are investing for the fun of it. The money invested is not life and death. So they're not sweating their choice and neither should anyone else.

JohnnySep I believe in you more than ever before and if a share becomes available I will pony up.

This thread is too long. I was going to read it but got bored a few pages in to figure out why it's gone on this long. I've got a general idea based off what I've been told but that is it. If anyone wants to break it down that is cool otherwise no big deal I don't care that much about it.
