I'm giving Jasep a chance to contact me before I reply to this thread with my own information, but I'm having a hard time understanding how the 22Q funds were not a top priority for all of you? All of your names are attached to that podcast, you should have made sure they were sent ASAP. Huge ball drop

I will address briefly why I "invested" in Projekt Sep:

When VPR was launched I did a small amount of writing for the site (a few reviews and such) which Jasep paid me for. I also was doing the radio show write-ups initially and despite my protestations Jasep wanted to pay me for this (even though it was literally 10 minutes of my life once a week) which we instead rolled into a couple of shares of his first BAP. That money (which started at about $100 I think) turned into $200 and I was going to cash-out after the latest BAP at Foxwoods as I didn’t really feel comfortable with the way that went.

However, he mentioned Projekt Sep to me and how he was down on his luck (for about two weeks before this he entertained getting a job which I strongly urged him to do privately) so I reinvested $100 in project Sep realizing he probably didn’t have the money to actually pay me –The other $100 went towards a waterslide he found at a yard sale that I told him I would buy from him, so I am owed a waterslide bounce house thing.

Banning Jasep because of how he ran a business that has almost nothing to do with this site is frankly childish, and if STP violated the rules of this site, hes banned for good reason. If he dox'd Jasep elsewhere he shouldnt be banned for it, although banning him for being on obvious victim of long term syphilis delirium is totally in play still.

Honestly Im not a huge Jasep fan but I dont think its a forgone conclusion in the slightest that he rolled 22Q. The kid over extends himself and has pretty loose morals but rolling a charity seems a bit out of character for him. If only because it would guaranteed blow up his spot and ruin his end game.

Also jesus christ lol at banning Jasep from a website where literally every person on it has fangs out, dripping with the dudes blood. Im sure Jasep would really feel the burn from being unable to post here, solid strat there.

LOL at thinking a guy who has shown himself to take the low road repeatedly is going to throw a big charity event and NOT pocket the money or a huge portion if given the chance. (and assuming he thinks he can get by with it.) I don't care to insult you too much, but how do you know what his "character" even is ? He is a character, he has no character. You think a guy who can't find $16 to pay a server bill and has repeatedly lied about the associated costs is doing charity for charity's sake ?

What is more baffling is how you post and people respond to how "correct" you are. You say "honestly I'm not a huge Jasep fan".. then you go on to do a bit of nut-hugging. "Solid strat"? News flash - Game Over. This dude won't pay people back. His rep has been destroyed and he is as broke as they come. There is _no_ strategy. He'll be packing up this online shit shortly and no one will see him except if they go looking in casinos.

It isn't how he "ran a business". He is a scammer. People can excuse scamming due to addictions, but they're still scammers and not every addict becomes a scammer.

Bottomset is way out of the loop on the nonsense that went on with Pete and lead to his banning.

It's excusable though as he was out of the country during most of that time.

In the meantime, as Chinamaniac posted, VPR and Podcastvegas have been changed this morning to "Under Construction" pages.

However, the forum still exists, and Jasep posted the following message at 7:54am PST today:

I shut my phone off last night, while only about 30 people have my number I have been getting a call from a blocked number every 5-10 minutes. Everyone here has my email.

That's it.

Coincidentally, this was just 2 minutes before Chinamaniac's post showed up here.

However, if he posted that at 7:54, it's 100% that he saw what China/Brandon have posted, and has not yet responded.

When this thread started i wanted so bad to tell my reasons why jasep should not be trusted but i knew the haters/trolls/ would pile on so i stayed out of it and druff threaten to ban me if posted about the matter, Druff will you come out and admit you fucked up bad here letting jasep run a BAP on this site??

The bottom line is Jasep never really did anything way out of line to predict this day would come. There were little things but nothing that jumped off the page. The cell phone thing with you was weird but he didn't roll you. But after he sold an Ipad, dropped a cell phone in the toilet and his laptop got fried in a week in the fall I thought back to his cell phone thing with you and thought there are a lot of coincidences but again nothing drastic yet.

He looked the part, he always showed up for radio, he was generous at times, he did a lot of bets with users , was social with users, he worked hard on the site and put a shitload of hours into VPR and was an active member of the forum. So a lot of members got close with him and it seemed it was mostly the same group of guys buying his packages and they bought his excuses.

He could have put this BAP up on any forum but it prob wouldnt have sold anywhere but here. The only reason it did is because the users were familiar with whom he was

I have read through this whole thread. I admit I have no idea who Jasep is and know zero about him. He could be a saint and the best guy in the world.

However, reading through this thread I cant help but think that this stake is going to be the subject of a PFA radio show many months from now. And not in a positive way.

Thats the thing, even someone solid gold could always fuck up or something could happen. Rollings are infrequent in BAPS but they do happen. Look at Erick Lindgren for example. He used his rep to bet with people when he was broke. He did it on 2+2 as well.

Bottom line is if you invest in someone do the following

1. Make sure the guy has results

2. Make sure the guy has a good rep and is trustworthy

Jasep did not qualify for # 1


If your going to invest do your homework. Druff is not responsible here IMO

I really hope you and Drexel keep the dream alive on this one and recoup for a grass roots initiative. Forget banners, marketing, all that. A VM costs $40 a month, streaming is like $5. There are probably a dozen people here who can set up a functional opensource forum for you and half the adult population of India can do post-install design for what a typical mixed game session at Aria will run you in tokes.
