This was the same moron who I banned last week under a different name. He acts like he's about 16 years old, and probably is.

I don't know if he's someone's terrible dupe (though I don't recognize the IP, and it's not a proxy), or if it's an idiot n00b, but either way this guy is awful and I don't want him here.

Unfortunately, there's only so much I can do to stop people from registering new accounts and posting before I get to them. He appears to be posting from a Blackberry.

Regarding mods, I will consider appointing one with some limited power. As you see, I got to this post in about an hour, so that's not an unreasonable turnaround time. It's probably faster than a mod would have gotten to it.

Don't have to appoint a mod who will make controversial calls. Just somebody who you trust to mop up nonsense like that.

I've got to say, I'm pretty fed up with the accusatory questions towards the foundation at this point. I have answered every single one quickly and consistently for a week, and people keep churning them up. I'm done answering these at this point. I've given all the info I have on the foundation, and what Jasep's scam was all about involving the fundraiser radio show. I've also been on 3 radio shows to talk about this. I. Pretty fed up. There are plenty of worthy charities that struggle to stay afloat and help the people they want to help. In case people haven't noticed, the economy has been in the shitter for over 5 years, and people just aren't parting with their money these days. Times are tough, and all of these charities rely on donations to continue to do the work that they do.

So if you don't mind, please stop with the accusatory questions. Feel free to ask about the foundation, what work we do to help people, and anything along those lines.

I'm not answering any questions in regards to how they manage their money, their executive board, or anything like that. If you have suspicions, keep them to yourself, or go find the "Charity Fraud Alert" message board and post them there.

It does when Disney charges $75 for a 3L container of ice water at the conference. Doing ANYTHING at Disney can become an extremely pricey adventure. It costs over $100 just to get into one park for one day these days. They make it hand over fist there because they are truly the only show in town in Orlando. For example, we wanted to hold a raffle at the conference. We were raffling off a medical stroller that was donated to the conference. The City of Orland referred us to The people at Disney because "they have their own rules and regulations separate from city. The city has no jurisdiction over them". Its like they are their own frickin country down there!

I don't even know what the cookies cost!

Your group elected to go to arguably the #1 tourist trap in the world. That was your group's choice. Don't come after the fact bitching about how expensive things are. Your group made a decision to take an expensive vacation and that is your right because it's your group. Don't go blaming Orlando because they are more expensive than Iowa. You could have easily had your meeting in Flint Michigan, but your group wanted to go to Disney World so deal with it.
