Given your situation I would think Planet Hollywood. You'd probably stumble across Vegas1369 serving drinks at the pool.

I would make your reservations at Planet Hollywood. I went on a heater there about a year ago. I got up to $200 a hand. I also got a Royal Flush on a quarter machine while waiting to go to the airport. Only paid a couple hundred bucks but I could not lose that weekend.

The trump hotel is good with kids, no casino.

I think pools are all closed in winter and LV is not really a place for kids, almost nothing to do for them

When I used to come to Vegas with a bunch of people, we usually stayed at Bally's. They have big suites with multiple regular rooms attached, and they don't cost that much. The location is great, too.

Vdara makes more sense to me, connected to citycenter and a much better location for the adults.

Vdara is what popped into my head too. The rooms all have kitchens and sofa beds which would be nice in your situation.

I just looked it up, never heard of it, but it looks great and probably cheaper than trump.

Trump Steak House In Las Vegas Shut Down After 50+ Health Violations
    Blunders
by Mariella Mosthof 1:25 pm, November 17th

These are conclusions we’re drawing based on a recent health inspection of DJT that actually shut down the restaurant after they failed it with 51 violations. They were housing a walk-in full of outdated, expired, unlabeled, mishandled and improperly stored food. Along with the old caviar and expired yogurt, inspectors also found two week-old veal stock and tomato sauce, expired peanut dressing and black bean chili, and duck that dated back to June. It’s like a college foodie frat boy’s kitchen back there. We’ll spare you the deets on all the improperly stored fish because we don’t want to ruin halibut and tuna for you, too."
