I have accidentally clicked on this piece of shit banner numerous times. Everyone on this site hates it, and nobody uses it. Whatever you are making off of it, please start a poll, amortize the income and I am sure a donation drive will get this POS banner off PFA and pay you the residuals.
I actually forget its even up there.
The story behind Bracket Geek is that Gallo and I own the site. We started it, but all of our resources (meaning programmers and money) are now tied up with other projects that we wont finish for quite a while. Any money that I would have to work on anything is being squeezed so I cant even afford right now to improve this site or pay for advertising. It still has more work before I would be 100% comfortable with it, but the good thing is that most of the essential parts of the website work.
Druff, please feel free to remove this banner. We totally appreciate the opportunity you gave us to put it up but we just have too many other things right now that we are contracted for. Please get some other sponsors up there that can bring you in significantly more than what we can afford for marketing this site.

We got screwed over by a few people we tried to partner up with and it set us back. If he wants to remove it, I wouldnt be hurt and totally understand. I wish we could do more, but other people have commanded our programmers away from our business and all I can do is wait until months and months from now until we MIGHT have time to work on BG. It was doing really well over in Europe for some reason, with NO marketing.

I'm all for supporting the guys and leaving the banner up. I do wonder though if there might be a way to make the margins around the banner a bit bigger for the smart phone interface. It's hard to click your notifications link without hitting the banner when reading the site on iPhone.

The site is fun... I like it. Need to add some reminders and such. Like drk said I got called away to much larger projects and have not given the site the love and attention it needs. I've got all our developers and resources on other stuff, but perhaps sometime in March we'll give it an overhaul.
On a side note..... Sonatine, you seem to be extra vicious across all the boards lately. What is troubling you dear? Anything I can do to get rid of this vicious attitude and bring back the sarcastic asshole we all love and fear? Warm regards...
