The US actually needs major prescription drug cost reform. Make it legal to buy prescription drugs mail order from first world countries, and the prices of prescriptions in the US will sink.

It just means you have your blood pressure under control.
It's ok, les, everyone is on pills after age 50. It's hard to get away with BOTH a normal blood pressure and normal cholesterol after 50. Usually heredity will stick you with one or the other (sometimes both) being high, regardless of your lifestyle.
I'm on blood pressure meds. Both parents are on them, too, so it was pretty much guaranteed it would happen.
My cholesterol has always been good, and I have never needed any meds for that.
I'm more concerned about your liver, though.
You admitted having stents due to cad. That would put u on statins, anticoagulants, a few Bp meds, side effects would have you on acid reducing meds, you have to be on some antidepressants at the minimal. Hmm what am I missing?
