I mean to be fair dumping a few trillion of paper values back onto Wall/Main street isnt going to help our inflation issues.

At least Gas was down so maybe the Fed is on to something here.

I was just responding to the Fed observation. Saving the empire? I was being facetious.

I cannot begin to grasp how long it will take and by what assorted schemes “they” will use to keep inflation jacked but that’s the script I’m running with as far as the other side (my opponent/enemy) is concerned

Looking at the historical returns of my mutual funds, the average return of even the best one is under 10% average per year.

Not sure where anyone is getting 10-17% without cherry picking start dates.

Yeah, Desertrunner informed me I have a reading comprehension issue. Appears you do too.

I currently own stock in Nevada Energy because its an obvious good buy and they pay a nice dividend of $1 per share.

I just found this article and figured rate changes were coming- Electric bills going up as NV Energy gets approval to raise rates

I really think Druff should jump on buying some Nevada Energy stock right now.

Since 2006, I have been following ExxonMobil stock and it seems to keep performing.

Jan. 2 article- This Giant Oil Stock Is My Top Dividend Pick for 2024

    From another article-

    - Exxon said it’s on track to grow its earnings and cash flow by $14 billion over the next four years.

    - The oil giant plans to increase its annual share repurchase program to $20 billion in 2024 through 2025 after the Pioneer merger closes, up from $17.5 billion in 2023.

    - Exxon is also boosting its investments in lower carbon emissions projects to $20 billion through 2027, up from $17 billion previously.

Anyone curious about T-Mobile stock, these are their performance numbers posted up at Fidelity-

    Price performance

    5-day +3.98%

    10-day +3.69%

    1-month +6.34%

    3-month +15.61%

    6-month +16.57%

    YTD +0.99%

    1-year +15.65%

    2-year +39.60%

    5-year +154.54%

    10-year +381.30%
The 10 year number really surprised me, but seems legit.
