    A can of Progresso soup is $4. I’m not great with prices but that is easy for me to absorb. A can of soup is $4. The real issue is that will not be its final price. It will soon be $5.

    Like Nicky paying $11 for a bottle of water - I leave the store feeling like I’m a victim of abuse too. You pay it but you’re not happy.

    I looked at the site. I am in an area with no coverage. We still buy groceries every day…. 10 minutes before dinner. We grew up in an era of cheap and plentiful food. Never thought about it. Need to change my game

    I’m working on bond prices.

    We have $10 trillion to sell this year. Mind bending. Recent auctions have had long price tails (not gone well).

    We all want to relive the bond market cratering from late ‘22. We had a small correction started late ‘23 but it’s human to want to relive the previous win.

    What’s ironic and worrying is that the coming Mideast war (which is largely our doing) will drive ploppies to the “safety” our bonds out of muscle memory. We kinda solve our own problem with conflict

    Long and short of it is we will have inflation (by design) for the next many many years. Bonds are fucked.

    Is QE ending? So much conflicting information and theories. All I know is commodities are the tits

    Oh, to Jayjami’s point… Shanghai gold trade, dude. Try to catch up.
