My favorite crowd moment was earlier when Bubba Watson absolutely destroyed a fairway and someone in the crowd screams SOMEBODY'S CLOSERRRR!!11 even the commentator chuckled.

It's all in good fun. The Ryder Cup isn't like it used to be. Most of their guys live here full time, hell Luck Donald lives in Chicago. No class would be yelling shit as a guy is standing over a putt. I've been loving this and I think it will be a nail biter for the Americans....they may lose.
I thought the funniest chant was the "away away away away away you're still away" sung to the "ole" chant.
The "somebody's closer" was also epic.

2 things I find funny. Its the US vs the rest of the world not just Europe. Us Americans are such superior athletes that to make things fair they have to put the entire planet on a team to try to beat us.

BTW the Presidents Cup, which runs in the years opposite the Ryder Cup, pits the U.S.A. vs the rest of the world golfers excluding Europe.
