Not true. I actually had dinner with Sonny in Southern California years ago and also pulled back a few cold ones and a couple cheese steaks with Delaware right outside of Philadelphia.

Sonny and Delaware?? You're the best bottomset.

The last words of Steve Jobs, billionaire, dead at 56

"I have reached the pinnacle of success in business." In other people's eyes my life is a success.

However, aside from work, I’ve had little joy.

At the end of the day, wealth is just a fact I’ve gotten used to.

Right now, lying on my hospital bed, reminiscing all my life, I realize that all the recognition and wealth I took so much pride in, has faded and become meaningless in the face of imminent death.

You can hire someone to drive your car or make money for you, but you can't hire someone to stand sick and die for you.

Material things lost can be found again. But there is one thing that can never be found when it is lost: Life.

Whatever stage of life we are currently at, in time we will face the day the curtain closes.

Love your family, spouse, children and friends... Treat them right .

    Cherish them.

As we get older, and wiser, we slowly realize that wearing a $300 or $30 watch both give the same time

Whether we have a $300 or $30 wallet or purse, the amount inside is the same.

Whether we drive a $150,000 car or a $30,000 car, the road and the distance are the same, and we reach the same destination.

Whether we drink a $1000 or $10 bottle of wine, the hangover is the same.

Whether the house in which we live is 100 or 1000 square meters, loneliness is the same.

You will realize that your true inner happiness does not come from material things of this world.

Whether you travel first class or economy class, if the plane crashes, you go down with it...

Therefore, I hope you realize, when you have friends, brothers and sisters, with whom you discuss, laugh, talk, sing, talk about north-south-east or heaven and earth,... this is the real happiness!!

    An indisputable fact of life:
Don't raise your children to be rich. Educate them to be happy. When they grow up, they will know the value of things and not the price."

Jobs was a fascinating cat but he was a prick capable of holding a grudge until his death. Among them his refusal to relate in a way to his biological father.

Even as he was dying and his father reached out he brushed him off.

Then there was Job’s refusal to have a relationship with the daughter that was the result of an affair.

The dying platitudes about family are poignant but had little to do with how he conducted his own life.

The hours and hours I spent reading about Jobs and Woz decades ago. One of the greatest tales ever told.

He was the original Musk. Both basically despicable humans with family. Jobs likely a more principled asshole

posted simply to illustrate his disdain for money

I’ll be elaborating further on this topic in great detail very soon

hopefully a certain furrow browed neanderthal has enough intellectual capacity left in the tank to comprehend the core message

I don’t have very high hopes, but will cast my pearls of wisdom before swine regardless

Hey Tony did you make a bet on the Mariners to win the AL West? It looks like they got a shot. 3 way sprint to the division now.

I have never understood the desire of anyone adopted at birth to seek out their biological parents. Most simply put their kid up for adoption out of convenience. In the case of Job's father, having a newborn simply interfered with his career, nothing more.

I had a barber years ago, a female in her 40s who went to great lengths to find her birth mother. I am like why do you give a shit, you got your adoptive parents and kids of your own now. She spent literally hours and thousands to find her birth mother and located her in Nebraska. I got my hair cut the day before they finally agreed to meet face to face.

So a month later I am in the chair and asked her how things went, she cooly said she did not want to talk about it. I was like whatever, I did not really give a shit just cut my fucking hair. Anyway, two weeks later I saw her hair cutting partner at an Applebees and she downloaded me on the meet up. Said her biological mother invited her over with her four kids and like 7 grand kids. How uncomfortable is that? Dear old Mom told her she was born out of wedlock and it was best for everyone she was given away. LOL, in other words kicked to the curb out of convenience

Funny thing was my last time in her chair she again brought up her biological mother, who apparently wrote her a letter and wanted to have another get together. She was so excited to give it another try or something. I was like get me the fuck out of this chair, never went back. More because the place barely had any parking and I always had to pay like $5 to park down the street which is crazy to just get a haircut.

As far as Steve Job's fake father, fuck him you know he was just reaching out to get some stock shares. If he learned his son was say a janitor he would have said to himself I made the right decision leaving him at the hospital. But CEO of Apple? Let me get a hold of him.

Sadly no. Frankly I'm not a sharp so I'm usually better off investing rather than gambling. I did put $100 on George Kirby to win the Cy Young at 50-1, not going to win but I still think it was good odds.

Yep, that is a made up internet story Jerry regrettably got duped on. It's all made up. I was going to wait to call him out on it, but only after the novel he is getting ready to publish on how money is meaningless, no doubt he would have referenced some of those fake Job's quotes. But you kind of stole my thunder.

Kind of reminds me of the stories back in the 90s that were circulating where a guy would pick up a woman and have a one night stand, only to wake up and find the gal had left and then written in lipstick on the bathroom mirror "Welcome to the Wonderful world of AIDS". Same internet lore like the guy who accepts a drink from some hot babe at a bar and wakes up the next day surgically missing a kidney. LOL, people get suckered into these internet rouses all the time.

LOL, yeah Steve Jobs, a pioneer in the tech industry is just going to write his innermost thoughts and publish them on the internet the week he dies. People actually fall for this shit.
