could have easily procured some fresh cilantro to add to the party, but i'm trying not to monday-morning-quarterback this too hard
just realized i FINALLY bought ranch dressing at the store and this could be delicately applied
bout to go ham on 'em man
If you like frank's you might try making your own sauce with a ranch base and various hot sauces, been my thing for years. I particularly like ranch with tapatio, ranch with tabasco isn't as good but it's great on everything
except taco bell, ranch doesn't seem to work on anything from taco bell.

Oh Hai,
Dragon Poppers
---------------
5 Large Jalapeno Peppers
1/4 lb. Ground Beef
1/4 Stick Philly Cream Cheese or some other cheese if you prefer.
Flour
Egg
Breadcrumbs
Salt, Black Pepper, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder.
Chili Sauce
Wash and split your Peppers lengthwise and cut halfway down the Stem end. Remove Seedpods and White Ribs inside Peppers, reserve some Seeds if you want some hotter Peppers.
Brown your Mince and break it up good. Add Salt, Pepper, Garlic and Onion Powder and Chili Sauce to Mince and stir. Drain most of the grease off and set aside. (I threw in some leftover hotdog chili into my mix for this one, if you care.) (Add your reserved Chili seeds to the Mince here if you wish)
Cut off a chunk of Cream cheese and press it into one side of the Pepper until it's half full. Spoon in the Mince into the other side of the Pepper and press it closed and run your finger across the slit to clear any excess out of the Pepper.
Dredge each Pepper through Flour, then Egg and coat with Breadcrumbs. (I dried my own Breadcrumbs and seasoned them with the same stuff as in the mince. Some people like crackers for this, but I like homemade chunky breadcrumbs.)
Pan fry in oil till golden brown. (I use tongs to turn these and spoon the oil over the top of the Peppers while they cook in a shallow pan, you deep-fry if you feel like it.)
Drain on some paper towel and serve HOT.
Served with Salsa and RANCH, BITCH!

Not trying to one up here, but this is a picture from a couple weeks ago. Quality is bad, but these are perfect for Thursday night football get togethers..
Quick and easy..
1 pack philly cream cheese
1 pound breakfast sausage
1 handful cheddar cheese grated
Oh and almost forgot...1 fresh ghost chili chopped finely
a little over 1 pound jalapeno cut half and deseeded
-Grill for about 15 minutes...usually just eyeball it until the sausage is fully cooked.
Ranch is good here as well

The other thing in the picture is chicken breast marinaded overnight in this jerk marinade. If you have never tried it, do yourself a favor and pick a bottle up ASAP. You will not be disappointed.
I have plenty more to add to this thread, but don't want to overflow it so I will just add periodically. Here was dinner a few nights ago when I didn't feel like going and getting something to eat. Just threw this together really quick and it was good.
Red onion
Fresh tomato from garden
Fresh basil from garden
fresh mozzarella
olive oil
bread
butter
garlic

Forgot to post this til now, had the boys over for some football action and went roscoes on them. Excuse the paper plates like 20 people were over.
at this point i am a hundred and ten percent in the corner of the toasted english muffin vs regular hamburger bun
braj never rule out rye, i know im bias but whatever. also those onion buns are so ftw.
when I have the guys over for football and shenanigans I tend to not break out the fine china or the san pellegrino chinotto but having said that I completely understand where you're coming from. Again this is why I said excuse the paper plates, I broke out legit roscoes chicken and waffles on my friends unexpectedly, yes I have a waffle maker and yes I made them on the spot.
They were surprisingly a huge hit, especially when I busted out the almond syrup, seriously you need almond butter syrup in your kitchen. Even more so than the san pellegrino. Admittedly, the pellegrino chinotto does wash it down well though.
i'm hesitant to say this and possibly ruin my street cred but i've never had chicken and waffles
nobody is perfect IN MY OPINION
[QUOTE=WillieMcFML;90822]lew, i know it's late but try and keep up
i have said before many times that the english muffin is the poor man's brioche IN MY OPINION
go nuts experimenting i am just simply saying that at this point in my life i prefer english muffins over plain hamburger buns[/QUOTE
and braj real talk, if english muffins are the poor mans anything than im living in a fucking gutter because I eat english muffins atleast 2-3 times a week. usually toast and butter them but when I'm feeling it I'll make myself an egg, cheese and bacon on the english muffin. Nothing wrong with it at all,
