3 days of this... covid.
I feel a bit dumb now.
I am in my 40s, covid feels like a bad cold/flu. My sense of smell is fine.
Anyway, I thought it was interesting that I spend literally thousands of hours in crowded casinos without catching covid and the second I started to take off mask just for brief moments, I caught it. Damn my luck.
The current strain of Omicron is apparently super contagious and is nailng a ton of people who haven't had COVID yet. From what I've seen, just about everyone who already had some form of COVID isn't getting it from this latest strain.
A big issue is that almost nobody is protected right now. People who got double or triple vaxxed almost all did it 6+ months ago, which means they've mostly worn off.
This leaves just about everyone vulnerable, and this highly contagious strain is loving it.
I think the WSOP is going to be a huge spreader of Omicron, and we are going to see lots of controversy about degens who don't want to give up their stack on Day 2+.
