Elon sold some of his TSLA stock for roughly half the deal ($22b?) and Morgan & BOA etc did the other half. That’s my memory. Did the banks sell that debt? The deal was still born from the get go. Maybe abortion is a better description. Who woulda bought Twitter debt? I doubt it. There couldn’t have been a market for anything Twitter related.
I bet the banks still hold the debt and interest rates are obv completely out of hand now. Less revenue & more interest. What a brilliant LBO.
