It’s one of those movies that’s good but you wouldn’t want to watch again
1917 is a pretty cool gimmick movie that I never really need to see ever again. It was the opposite of Parasite in the sense as soon as I saw Parasite, I wanted to see it again right away.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph I went to see Parasite after your brief review. Fecking amazing. One of those rare movies where your are unaware of time passing and can't imagine what's coming next, although when it started raining hard I knew partly what was coming. What a movie
the Parasite line that keeps sticking in my mind from as soon as the movie ended, is near the beginning when the girl is showing the mother the pic the kid drew and said something like
'You see this?'
'What is it?'
'It's a metaphor.'
It sure is.
