Oh, and I never accused Galfond of cheating. Not once. On my last radio show, I said, "If someone had a gun to my head and I had to pick whether or not I felt the Galfond match was legit, I would say it was legit." I did say that this took place on Galfond's own site, and that there are many scenarios which could have taken place (including ones he didn't even know about). That doesn't mean I think Galfond is a cheater, or that the match wasn't legit. Just that playing on his own site automatically raises questions, especially since he's not the only one in control of it. I do believe that Galfond is an honest and good guy.

There is stupid extremism in both parties, and I'd say it exists in about equal proportions. There are as many anti-science SJW types in the Democratic Party as there are anti-science Fox News bots in the Republican Party. This is where you are dead wrong. The anti-science SJWs are highly vocal but a tiny minority among Democrats. Meanwhile, conservative Christians, who are anti-science, make up about 70 percent of the GOP.

If they're going to reopen things, it needs to be done very carefully and intelligently, and it's hard to count on any government to behave in such a manner.

Just because social distancing has slowed it down doesn't mean that we can shrug our shoulders and return to normal life, or anything close. We haven't accomplished anything yet. No cure. No treatment. No herd immunity. No vaccine. Not even reliable antibody tests.

I, for one, am not going to set foot into a casino (including the WSOP) until one of four things happen:

1) Effective treatment
2) Vaccine
3) Virus disappears
4) I have antibodies for it (and the test for this is reliable)

Otherwise, fuck that. I'm staying home.

Now, if the new infections go down extremely low in my area, I'll start be more willing to do things like returning to the grocery store, eating takeout, and visiting friends.

However, no fucking way am I going to a casino, poker room, or anywhere with a lot of people.
