We might have just had the first big one on american soil in the MNF game. Guy had a cardiac event, stopped breathing, they had to work on him giving him CPR for almost 10 minutes to get a pulse back. He is still on oxygen now and I can't imagine this is going to be a good outcome if he was not breathing for that long. Prayers to him and his family, probably needs a miracle at this point.

There isn't a shred of evidence that the vaccine was more damaging to people my age (49 at the time) than original/Delta COVID. Not only wasn't it more damaging, it wasn't even close. You were at far more risk from COVID in your late 40s, both for death and non-death adverse events (such as lung damage).

There were indeed some vaccine cover-ups, from the serious (myocarditis) to the alarming but harmless (women's period disruptions). The myocarditis thing was the worst because it affected a demographic (boys & young men) which were highly unlikely to experience bad COVID outcomes.

However, myocarditis was not an issue for people my age, but COVID itself very much was. I personally knew 5 people under 60 who died of COVID (one was as young as 44) in 2020-21, all of whom had it before the vaccine was available. I still know zero people who had long term adverse effects from the vaccine.

It is sad that this thread has turned into spam and moronic propaganda, when there's plenty of real and verified material which can be used to bash the left's handling of COVID.
