Restaurant is a different story, and I don't want to get into that discussion here.

But why tip $1650 for a single hand? Don't you think this is excessive, especially since this win is just making up for greater past losses?

Why should the dealer receive $1650 for this hand and only a small amount (or even zero) when you win a normal hand?

As I said, this isn't like a poker tournament where you're tipping all dealers combined for several days of work. This is literally a tip for one hand.

That's the big difference here which some of you seem to be missing.

I guess the time I would be pretty psyched and have no problem sharing the fun, lucky situation. That’s a sweet hit.

I hit a royal flush on a ultimate Texas holdem a few years back I think 14k I gave the dealer 300 was fun as shit.

You are a professional gambler so I see your point, for me it’s free money.

The prob that Druff can’t get past is not realizing this is life changing money to most. Since it isn’t for him he just considers the effort it takes them and pure math. The fact they did shuffle and arrange the cards combined with if it dramatically changes someone’s life, would lead them to tip more and be extremely grateful to give maybe even 1500/2000. They aren’t sitting there concerned about how much they may lose playing over the next ten years.
