Do you want to observe a real-life front for a money laundering operation?

I mean, if this isn't, I don't know what is.

Here are just a couple of examples:

    Not so fast.

Often ridiculously high prices like that are a placeholder the company uses when they're out of stock.

Rather than listing out of stock for an extended period of time, they list some insane price nobody will pay, and then lower it back to normal when the item is back in stock.

Not exactly sure of the reason for that, but maybe Amazon de-lists them if they're out of stock for too long.

Yeah. Pretty obvious this is what happened.

They don't want their listing to come down -but they are out of inventory and there;s no option to keep your ad up and say "hey, i'll be right back!" I've heard from friends that this was extremely common on the silky roads or whatever they're called.

Druff, have you thought of putting up some PFA gear for sale on Amazon? Would be interesting to see one your hats for sale there for a cool million. Show those punters how to do it.

eBay has a lot of laundering as well. I research prices of things and more than occasionally I find a 10 dollar item that sold for 1200.
