I only caught maybe 20 minutes of the show. It was when you were talking about the fight next door at the Rio. One thing I greatly disagree with you on is the notion that anti-trump people are more vocal than anti-Obama people. That is to be influenced by geographical bias. I have exactly one person I know who posts anti-Trump stuff every day. To do so would be to do nothing but invite arguments every day. I don’t think I’m exaggerating to say it’s 50-1 pro-Trump stuff at this point. When I was dating that girl
over in western Pa, it was probably 80% of like 500 Facebook friends who would post Trump favorable stories. Not a single person would post from a left point of view. They’d literally be ex-communicated. During the Obama era it was all Benghazi, not an American stuff, etc. This is a black and white geographic thing. Like if a tellafriend is honest, I think he’d have to concede in southern Georgia, I would guess he has little anti-Trump sentiment if he’s on social media. Any he has is likely friends from elsewhere, or people specifically in law where there’s a left bias. Whereas a Blake is likely inudated with it being in Philly. This is almost wholly geographical. My area has a large black population, but many of us grew up together. I was always astonished to see lifelong friends have to deal with a guy posting Obama with a bone through his nose pictures every day. They had far thicker skin than Trump supporters and I never saw anyone lose their shit. Supporters of either party are completely emboldened by what surrounds them. If it’s a pro-Trump area, this is all they see, and think everyone thinks like them. In a major metropolitan area, the complete opposite. As a middle-aged guy in Ohio, the conservatives are always always the loudmouths. Even during a period far less polarized than the one we’re currently in. I don’t take that as an accurate sample of the country. As someone who lives in LA, and frequents major metropolitan areas, and likely has a lot of younger poker friends who skew left, trust me you’re not getting an accurate feel for the larger picture.
