Another case of the sequel not living up to the original.

When I was there two weeks ago, I played 20/40 with Mason. Sat right next to him and BS'd with him a bit, as he was actually pretty interesting. I told him I post here and he was telling me a story about someone trying to out Todd as a scammer on 2+2 because Todd showed up late to his Day 2 and was getting blinded off. The guy was one of the backers, I believe. Mason did say that the guy shouldn't have made the thread because he didn't give Todd enough time to make the situation right. He said Todd did end up refunding the backers or something? Not sure if this was already discussed here and I may have missed it. I also found it interesting that he said he had never met Todd in person (unless he did and didn't realize it). Would have thought they crossed paths at some point.

Gus Hansen walks over to me and asks me if he can ask me a question.
Sure i say. By the way are you really Gus Hansen?
He says yes, obviously i tell him i know who he is.
He then says Phil Ivey saw me walking around having a smoke in front of the poker room as well as sitting at my table which is right in front of the door to bobbys room.
Him and Gus have a bet.
The over under on my age is 27. gus took the over.
I showed him my ID and told him to go collect.
Back to Mason again
Todd the Dealer heard me say i wanted to play the 20/40 bc i wanted to beat mason out of a pot and introduce myself.
he asks why i would introduce myself and we start talking and i reveal that i leveled him a few months back when i exposed him for filing his tax returns wrong.
I then told him that anytime he wants he can troll mason.
after i wrote down my name so he could find me on FB, i then wrote down exactly what he should say:
"Winning is the most important thing in my life, after breathing. Breathing first, winning next."

That story seems so unreal that it has to be real. You shoulda told Gus you would only show your ID for 1 percent of the winners take. I'd guess the absolute smallest a bet like that would be for is 10K. Fuck being an uncompensated player in their prop bet. Also your joke on Mason makes no sense to anyone in this universe.
just when i thought this thread couldnt be more embarrassing..
