    Restraurant suggestions in NYC

Will be in New York later this spring.

Can I get a few suggestions for good restaurants?

Benjamin will be with me, so it can't be one that refuses children.

Not looking for anything ridiculously expensive, but moderately expensive is ok.

Will be there for 2-3 nights, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Also, what is the best pizza place there nowadays? I ran into some excellent places back in 2002, but every time I've gone since, the pizza I've tried has been a disappointment.

    Do not troll this thread.

    TY

The "Astro" if your staying around 5th Ave in the 50,s..

That's were all the hotels are and it's continental cuisine..

Everything from omelette , egg Benny to really nice burgers as well as some really nice dinner s....

    Good steaks and chops too..

It's a basic place that caters to tourists but its reasonable for the area..

Omelette is around $15 and burgers are $20 and dinners are $30/35...

It really is very decent quality food to get on a daily basis especially if your with family!!.

Even the hotdog carts charge $3.50 for one skinny hotdog so comparatively the Astro is as good as your going to get in the area taking in consideration the criteria..

The other places are either very corporate or really expensive and you leave hungry..

At the Astro you won't leave hungry and it is good food..

I know nothing about fucken pizza..

was just there for restaurant week and ate a ton of food

on the less expensive end you might want to check out Tender Steak and Sushi which is close to times square, some friends talked it up and I am usually very skeptical but the food was phenomenal

also for breakfast or breakfast food I bet benjamin would love clinton st. baking company. Feels like you are in a sketchy but the food is great

Halal Guys- Chicken and Rice with alot of white sauce.

If you want to take the 7 train to Queens for Casa del Chef. $45 dollar fine dining quality food.

LOL, as for pizza most people swear by Artichoke, but the best pizza is in BK.

GringoStar: I actually rock a Halal Guys key chain, partially because the rice is amazing, but also because its big and yellow.

Definitely Clinton Street baking for breakfast. Probably the best breakfast I've ever paid for. The pancakes were like $16, they were amazing.

Pro tip- download the app No Wait and use it before u go to Clinton Street. Wait time was 40 min on a Monday at 10:30am when I was there in the faill. No wait puts you I line without being there, only time I've ever used it this app

Artichoke pizza is where you go after a night on bleaker st. You don't take your wife and kid there.

$40 artchoke pie is def worth it!

    Meetup with OSA.

And Halal guys is super overrated. Unless the one in NYC is much better than the one in Chicago. Also, don't they hate Jews or something?

Lol. Like I need to pay someone to take me to good places. Yelp has make that business model obsolete.

Go to the "The Original Soup Man", there are four locations in Manhattan, and see if you can get extra bread or extra tomatoes on the side

Original Soup Man is a chain that was started by Ali Yeganeh, who was inspiration for the Seinfeld soup nazi
