23 people were shipped off to the fucking wilderness for an off-grid, 'back to nature' style show called Eden.
So far so good.
Thing is, it was cancelled after 4 eps because it was total and absolute garbage. Which would be fine and totally not thread worthy except that no one told the contestants, who have been living out there for a year, eating fucking bird seed and going insane, only to return to society to find out that Trump is the president of America, England has split from Europe, and they wasted 4 years of their life on a reality show that no one watched.
Other tidbits... the participants would constantly sneak into town and buy liquor and junk food, and half of them walked off the show because it was a psychotic porn version of Lord of the Flies only to find out that the episodes that DID air were so heavily edited that what they displayed was a total and absolute piece of fiction.
Supposedly they are going to eventually air the entire series, which seems like a strange choice considering the current publicity.
