Back in 2009, the buy-in was $10K, 1st place paid $3,000,000.
The 2017 PokerStars Championship main event was a $5K buy-in, 1st place pays $400K? Not fucking enough.

Why did Charder make a deal with JohnnyBax?
I know damn well Charder thought he could beat his ass in his sleep.
Instead Charder makes a deal that makes him only $26K more than 2nd place.

What was the posted first and second prizes? What were there stacks at the time of the chop? This ain't bar league poker where you just chop when you get hu regardless . I seriously doubt any donations were given.
Why do you think charder would have a huge edge on bax heads up? Both are mtt gods, and neither is known for heads up nlhe play. Even if charder thought he had a small edge, cutting a deal to kill the huge variance might not be a terrible idea.
and like my nigga bgc said, charder didn't do it to be nice. he did it because he thought it was in his best interest
Now that I think about it, not cutting a deal might be in bax's best interest. 400k means nothing to bax, as far as his day to day life goes. Who knows what it means to charder? The money not mattering might give bax a edge.
