Fight breaks out at new DC MGM Casino Opening Night

MGM National Harbor will bring many jobs to Maryland and should help the economy in general. However, not everyone was in the holiday spirit at Thursday night’s grand opening — a fight broke out during the Vegas-style extravaganza.

In a video posted by Las Vegas Review-Journal staff photographer, Chase Stevens, a group of men are fighting on the casino floor of the MGM.

The $1.4 billion casino filled to capacity within an hour of it’s opening. The entertainment castle also comes with all the amenities you can imagine, including more than 125,000 square feet of vibrant gaming space.

They built the damn thing in the second biggest ghetto in the D.C. metro area outside of SW DC itself. PG County is a shithole. Back in the days when the Caps played in Landover I'd try to beat traffic because Rush Hour in DC Metro area sucks ass. Well I decided to go the Landover MD mall about a mile away to kill time and eat before the game. I was literally the only cracker in that mall. For a min I thought I was in a remake of white mans Burden with Travolta.
