    Question regarding Bovada sports bonuses

I really don't feel like playing today's $270 $100k guaranteed on Bovada with my poker points because.... well, recall the torture I experienced last week. These tournies suck.

Anyway, I see I can actually buy sports bonuses at a slightly better value (1.11 cents per point instead of 1 cent per point), but can only do so in $10 increments.

I don't mind buying a bunch of them in a row, as that can be done fairly quickly.

    But what about betting them?

If I wanted to make a $250 bet, could I use 25 of these at a time?

Simply put, if I buy 25 bonuses, does it just plop $250 in my account which must be rolled over 3x on sports, or do I get 25 individual bonus tickets of $10 each?

    Someone please explain this ASAP.

Support is useless and I don't trust them.

I tried to buy just 2 as a test, but I have to wait 24 hours for them to be issued, so this won't answer my question in time.

id be absolutely floored if they werent issued as an aggregate amount available for wagering from your sportsbook wallet. i really cant imagine any other scenario.

I made 2 calls to support about this.

The first one (prior to this post) reached someone who sounded completely clueless and said that they appear as an aggregate, as you stated.

The second one sounded knowledgeable (after this post was made) and said the same thing.

So at least I have them on recording now (Bovada records every call) promising me this.

I'm going to convert all of my remaining points to $900 or so in sports bets. I get to avoid playing any more terrible tournaments there.

I have to wait 24 hours to get it, which isn't ideal, but is fine.

Hopefully I can run it up thanks to the power of Daly's magical NCAA picks plus my own sometimes-ability to pick MLB winners.

You got it bud so long as you tell me how to convert my points on the mobile site? I can't find a menu to convert my points (only 5000)

Unfortunately the mobile site is crap, just like mobile sites everywhere.

    Anyway, I've gotten my answer.

YES, you can get a lump sum of sports bets by converting poker points multiple times at $5 or $10 for each block.

You are getting 1.11 cents each point, so it's a better value than converting them to tourney tickets.

The only downside is that it requires 3x rollover, but that's not a big deal.

I did it via the poker client. I don't even see where to do it anywhere on the website.

    Go on the client.

Click Account (on the left side), then My Poker, then Points to Tickets.

Select either $10 Sports bonus (900 points) or $5 Sports bonus (450 points).

    Click Convert.

Do this over and over until you've redeemed all your points (or at least until you have fewer than 450 left).

It will show up in your account as a "bonus" about 24 hours later, as a lump sum.

You just go and bet sports normally from that point, and it will automatically use the bonus funds first. Make sure to wait 24 hours or you may not have the bonuses.

You will know when your bonuses have been placed in your account by either checking on bonuses via the website, or just going to the poker client and select Account -> My Poker -> Tournament Tickets. If you see nothing there, it has converted into your sports bonus. If you see a list of them, then it hasn't converted yet.

Sweet. Just had a talk with my friends at bovada. I can't convert my points unless I have access to the client. I have one PC and it's for my work and as it turns out they won't let me play poker on it. No way to transfer points via phone or mobile.

I cashed some out and transferred the rest to Ignition. I nearly got these points to nothing but once you buy tickets you earn a few points for the games you play so it winded up looking like this when I logged in just now:
