Do you really thing a middle class factory worker/office manager whose job has been outsourced to China/India will ever again trust the experts, politicians and economists, that were pro-free trade China entry to the WTO? It cost 2.8 million manufacturing jobs, plus the related businesses/jobs for those serving the manufacturing workers...

Economist were partially right, yes overall the US is richer/benefits with free trade, but what the experts didn't consider was the wealth/benefits are distributed unequally...and the ones that lost out are the Trump voters...perfectly understandable to me why those folks are pissed and will try something different

so rather than dismissing those folk, take your knowledge and education back to the laboratory and figure out a way to get their votes back...do that rather that clogging streets with protests...if you come up anything better there will be an election in 4 years time and you might get your way again...and that is how democracy works to change things for its people
