Pretty sure Judge Wallace has some "leagl training in her backround"
A Colorado court makes it official: Trump is an insurrectionist

For the first time, a judge, having heard evidence and conducted a hearing under section 3 of the 14th Amendment, has stated unequivocally that Donald Trump committed an “insurrection against the Constitution.” Section 3 provides:

“No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office . . . under the United States . . .who, having previously taken an oath, . . . as an officer of the United States . . . to support the Constitution . . . shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same . . . .”

As Judge Sarah Wallace puts it in her 102-page decision: “The court finds that . . .Trump engaged in an insurrection on January 6, 2021 through incitement, and that the First Amendment does not protect Trump’s speech.”

Thus, the Colorado court has both affirmed the commitment to truth that animates the justice system under the rule of law and set another marker of Trump’s deviation from constitutional governance. The court’s decision makes a record for history.

The plaintiffs in the case built on the work of scholars and commentators who concluded that Trump was a federal “officer” during his term as president and that his involvement in the run-up to Jan. 6, 2021, and the events of that day were acts of insurrection.

You're a lawyer and you're losing an argument about LAW to a guy who isnt a lawyer.
It obviously isn't because I know more about law than you, ofc I don't.

It's because you are defending the indefensible.

Pointless going back n forth with you. No benefit to me or you. Waste of time and energy that I could be using in more productive ways.

I dont intend on spending my 2024 trying to convince you and other MAGA people that what you're supporting is beyond wrong and on top of that very dangerous to our country

I hope you and your family have a good 2024 (besides politically)

Section 5 of the 14th amendment gives Congress sole authority to enforce Section 3. No rights were given to the states. The Colorado decision was not just wrong, it was unlawful.

SCOTUS is going to tell you that per Section 5 they are overturning the Colorado decision. You heard it here first.

You need not worry about this tho mickey

You need to worry about the trials because once he is found guilty and he will be found guilty trump loses 1/4 of republican supporters who currently support him. You heard it here first

LOL at this Cassidy Hutchinson grifter. She was a low level White House aide for a few months, obscure, and now is running around the country saying Trump is a threat to Democracy. Hilarious people are paying attention to her, she was 24 years at the time and was around for like 8 months.

What she leaves out is she had a job in Mara Lago set up after Trump left office, and the day before she was to start the offer was pulled. Yep, all of a sudden she now hates Trump and he is a threat to democracy and going to destroy the world. TDS is real people, but I think most are just using it to make money off of Trumps name.

I get a guy like Michael Cohen going after Trump, they knew each other for 25 years and probably spoke almost every day and Trump kicked him to the curb because he outlived his usefulness. I get that one, but Cassidy Hutchinson? People actually bought her book, if you did you are not smart. Now she says she is going to do everything she can to stop him from being elected, like she has one scintilla of power and influence.

Almost a quarter of Trump supporters oppose having him on ticket if convicted: Survey
BY LAUREN IRWIN - 12/20/23 7:52 AM ET

Nearly a quarter of former President Trump’s supporters say he should not be the Republican nominee for president in 2024 if he is convicted of a crime, according to a survey released Tuesday.

The New York Times/Siena College poll found 24 percent of respondents who said they would vote for Trump in the upcoming election also say he should not be the nominee if found guilty in one of his legal trials, “even if he has won the most votes.”

I’m not sure you can be found guilty for trying to subvert democracy when we don’t live in a democracy. That’s like getting arrested for vehicular manslaughter after hitting a mannequin.

The world is so unfair to peacemakers.

lol CNN nixed RAM from the Iowa republican debate saying only Trump, DeSantis and Haley qualified.

But Trump pulled a fast one on all of them. Instead of going to the Iowa debate Trump will be doing an Iowa Town Hall to be broadcast by FNC at the same time as the CNN debate.

CNN, DeSantis and Haley are all pissed. Because guess which show will get all the views. Lol
