I ripped through season 1 and I am going on episode 2 for season 2. Show has kept my attention and I think it is quite good. GALE IS GOD

At the risk of repeating myself, when they get into the actual mechanics of grey market finance, the show is at its strongest.
But when they try to gin things up with this personal conflict it falls to wet pieces; Chuck would never be this personally invested in his beef with Axe, and Axe would never in a literal million years ever let himself get sucked into a battle with the fucking American Government.
The character writing is just terrible across the board, I feel like I'm being served a meal where every plate is created by half a dozen blindfolded chefs who hate each other.
