Always one step ahead, thanks.
Always one step ahead, thanks.
what I dont understand is how they move forward with any of this investigation without somehow exposing the convo Chuck had with Begosian but I also dont care.

Very true, leaves things open to twists and turns I guess.
When I was watching all the people agree to add that bacteria to their drink I was thinking.. man lots of people involved with this sabotage someone must talk. Only way it could be done I guess.
It seems like kind of an 'in for a penny in for a pound' thing where it would just make sense to tamper with bottles in the plant or something but honestly, when you look at it objectively, its a very very dumb plan no matter how you cut it.
I think what frustrates me most about this season is that without question it was the best season to date, and it had nothing to do with sweeping character arcs but was 100% because they focused on the underbelly of grey market finance and the motives/methods of the people in charge of taking it down.
Ill say this much, if there is one scene I'm looking forward to, it is Taylor weeping and shaking in handcuffs. I really hope that when the final montage plays, we see her shuffling along the lunch line in an orange jumpsuit.

But we all love they them.
I can see how one side will ultimately go down but cannot help but feel the other side loses too in some grand way, no winners.
Remember when the stock was up and everyone in the room was worth like half a billion dollars and they decided to celebrate with a bottle of whiskey worth less than a taxi from the airport to midtown?
That was hilarious.

It's a fucking tv show its all about entertainment....I guess I'm an imbecile cause I don't analyze each episode in-depth like sonatine.

Tine once wrote something to the effect that BCS was well done but depressing. Of course, he didn't say it that simply....
This is how I feel about the Taylor character. Such a tremendous start. I am so fearful that Taylor's arc is just going to be a cartoonish capitalist comeuppance.
That's depressing and shallow from the writing stand point. There was so much promise for depth with this novel character.
You guys miss the point of Sonatines literary criticism. He will review Mr Rogers Neighborhood during the summer reruns and that too would be god.
Some funny stuff here.
If the 4th wall could be broken and Giamatti charged Brian Koppelman with squandering opportunity - that's something I'd watch

Taylor is basically a one-note cautionary tale about libertarianism, thats all.
I hoped for more from her as well btw.

Dollar Bill also sails under a libertarian flag but represents a far more jaded/establishment/predatory evolutionary line, eg her possible future, and it looks a lot like shes comfortable with that outcome, which makes the orange jumpsuit scenario virtually unavoidable.
Personally Id like to see her pull a Micon and flee to Antigua or something.

Blind read, and no Im not watching the east coast feed just in case this is happening right now, is they accuse Chuck of conspiring with Wendy to short his own stock, and that somehow hamstrings his investigation, and/or the final scene is weasily mcattorney guy slapping cuffs or at least serving Wendy.
Also Wendy is about to get her mortal tits sued off if her convo in Chucks office ends up on record, so ok I guess I see where Season 3 is going now.
